Super Mario 3 : Mario Forever 5.08b for PC

Hearkening back to the heyday of Nintendo, this game faithfully reproduces the classic Super Mario Bros. Although Mario Forever's graphics and sound aren't identical to those of the original, they're so close most users familiar with the game won't be able to differentiate.
The basic platformer action hasn't changed either. As the feisty little plumber Mario, you traverse different worlds to collect coins while dodging enemies such as malevolent mushrooms and ill-tempered turtles. You won't find an extensive feature set, but you can at least change the keyboard controls or disable the music and sound effects.

However, we do think Mario Forever consumes a bit too much processor time, especially considering its outdated design. But if you were a fan of the 1980s classic Super Mario Bros., then we doubt this freebie will disappoint you.

Pemeran utamanya, Christine Hakim jadi legenda hidup gara-gara film ini. Berkat Tjoet Nja’ Dhien, setiap aktris muda pasti menyebutnya sebagai panutan atau bintang idola. 3. Naga Bonar (1986)

Lewat Naga Bonar, Asrul Sani lagi-lagi membuktikan bakat besarnya sebagai salah satu penulis cerita terbaik yang pernah dipunyai negeri ini. Asrul piawai menghadirkan dialog yang memicu tawa, yang begitu dipikir lebih dalam ternyata mengandung makna luhur. Naga Bonar hadir buat berkelakar. Namun, ia tak berkelakar sembarangan. Yang jadi bahan kelakar justru pejuang negeri saat perang kemerdekaan berlangsung. Naga Bonar menyindir pemujaan pada para pahlawan. Film ini berpesan, tak semua pejuang di masa lampau itu punya niat suci membela negeri. Ada yang cuma bisa bicara saja. Nah, Jenderal Naga Bonar (diperankan dengan gemilang oleh Deddy Mizwar) pun aslinya pencopet. Tapi dari sosok inilah kemurnian perjuangan lahir. Sebagai karya sinema, Naga Bonar tampil lengkap, berisi sekaligus menghibur; tergarap dengan baik, tanpa cacat cela. Pantas rasanya bila film ini memborong 7 Piala Citra di FI 1987.

4. Ada Apa dengan Cinta? (2001)

Ada Apa dengan Cinta? (AAdC?) jadi salah satu film penting negeri ini. Melahirkan tren yang sudah lama hilang dari jagad sinema kita: film bertema remaja. Selepas AAdC? lahir film-film bertema sejenis. Tren itu juga merambah ke teve. Sejak AAdC?, datang berduyun-duyun sinetron bertema remaja. Rasanya, sejak Gita Cinta dari SMA (1979) dulu baru ada lagi film Indonesia yang begitu digandrungi remaja. AAdC? tak kurang ditonton sekitar 2,7 juta orang di bioskop. Rudi Soedjarwo, sang sutradara, begitu lancar bertutur (Rudi dapat Piala Citra di FFI 2004).

5. Kejarlah Daku Kau Kutangkap (1985)

Film baik tak lekang dimakan zaman. Bertahun-tahun selewat peredarannya, film itu masih asyik buat ditonton. Nah, Kejarlah Daku Kau Kutangkap tipe film seperti itu. Penonton tak sekadar diajak tergelak. Semua ini berawal dari skenario cerdas yang dibuat Asrul Sani, pengarahan kuat dari Chaerul Umam, sang sutradara, yang digenapi akting prima dari Deddy Mizwar, Lydia Kandou, Ully Artha, dan Ikranegara. Hasilnya, film ini layak ditasbihkan sebagai situasi komedi terbaik yang pernah dihasilkan sineas kita. Asrul berhasil membuat kelakar jenius tentang hubungan pria dan wanita. Dalam film ada hubungan Ramadhan (Deddy) dan Mona (Lydia) yang berkisar antara cinta dan benci, cinta dan gengsi, hingga cinta akhirnya mengalahkan segalanya.

6. Badai Pasti Berlalu (1977)

Badai Pasti Berlalu jadi film Teguh Karya yang paling laris ditonton. Tak kurang, saat beredar dulu, film ini masuk urutan kedua film terlaris 1978 (ditonton 212.551 orang). Padahal buat Teguh sendiri, ia terpaksa membuat film itu. “... ingin nafas, dan balas budi dari film-film terdahulu yang kurang laku. Selain saya ingin memvisualkan sebuah novel ke dalam bahasa visual,” ujarnya seperti dimuat Pikiran Rakyat pada 1978. Badai Pasti Berlalu memang diangkat dari novel pop. Hasilnya, ya film pop. Sebelum diangkat jadi film, kisahnya memang sudah populer duluan saat dimuat bersambung oleh Kompas dan kemudian dinovelkan. Hingga saat difilmkan, orang tentu ingin menontonnya. Apalagi yang membuatnya Teguh Karya, sutradara yang piawai membuat film-film bermutu. Selain itu, yang membuat Badai Pasti Berlalu dikenang juga lantaran tata musik berikut lagu temanya yang digubah Eros Djarot. Lagu temanya abadi hingga kini.

7.Arisan (2003)

Untuk ukuran tahun 2000-an sekarang, Arisan! paling tepat ditunjuk sebagai film yang menelanjangi kehidupan di zamannya. Tanpa tedeng aling-aling, Arisan! menampilkan problematika hidup kaum borjuis Jakarta. Ada perselingkuhan, dilema cinta sesama jenis, hingga upaya mempertahankan nilai-nilai keluarga. Semuanya campur-aduk dalam balutan komedi segar. Kepiawaian sang sutradara, Nia DiNata, menggarap realitas ini mengingatkan kita pada kemampuan senada yang dimiliki sutradara besar lain macam Sjuman Djaya atau Asrul Sani. Nia tak cuma menghibur, ia juga mengajak penonton untuk jujur pada diri sendiri. Pesannya jelas, kehidupan kaum jetset Jakarta dipenuhi topeng alias kemunafikan. Arisan! juga jadi darah segar saat perfilman kita yang bangkit lagi dipenuhi film remaja dan horor. Di luar itu, Arisan! yang jadi film terbaik FFI 2004 ini juga melahirkan bintang baru. Tora Sudiro (pemeran Sakti yang gay) namanya.

8. Gie (2005)

Soe Hok Gie, aktivis mahasiswa 1960-an, telah jadi sosok bak pahlawan. Pandangan dan kisah hidupnya memikat Mira Lesmana dan Riri Riza, pemilik Miles Productions. Keduanya lantas menggagas buat mengangkat kisah hidup Gie ke layar lebar. Hasilnya jadilah Gie. Akor ganteng Nicholas Saputra didapuk memerankan Soe Hok Gie. Tentu tampang Nico yang ganteng tak mirip Gie asli, akan tetapi ia bisa berakting (buktinya Nico diganjar FFI 2005 buat aktor terbaik). Sebuah gagasan yang mengingatkan kita pada mahakarya Usmar Ismail, Lewat Djam Malam (1954).

9.Si Doel Anak Betawi (1973)

Saat karya sastra diangkat ke layar lebar—di antaranya Salah Asuhan (1972)—Sjuman Djaya memilih mengadaptasi novel Aman Datoek Madjoindo berjudul Si Doel Anak Betawi. Ini cerita seputar suka-duka kehidupan Doel, seorang anak Betawi asli. Doel diperani Rano Karno saat masih kecil. Suka duka kehidupan Doel yang mencari figur ayah (setelah ditinggal mati ayahnya), melawan kerasnya hidup (ia harus membantu ibunya berjualan kue buat menyambung hidup), sampai menghadapi tekanan anak-anak nakal terekam baik.

10. Petualangan Sherina (1999)

Sebuah tontonan yang mengingatkan kita pada Home Alone (). Kala anak kecil mempecundangi orang dewasa. Petualangan Sherina jadi film besar lantaran dianggap sebagai penanda kebangkitan perfilman nasional. Sebelum Petualangan Sherina, bioskop tanah air melulu diisi film esek-esek.
